Ƶ Customer Storage Program Stakeholder Process

Ƶ is convening stakeholder meetings to discuss issues related to customer-sited battery energy storage programs under guidance provided by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) as part of new rates approved in August 2023.

As described in ACC Decision No. 79065, Ƶ will engage with stakeholders to examine a potential Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program that would permit customers to install behind-the-meter (BTM) battery systems. Concurrently, discussions will explore potential revisions to the Ƶ’s Residential Demand Time-of-Use Tech (R-Tech) and Large General Service TOU Storage Program (LGST-SP) rates.
